Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, a middle school science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship millions of miles from Earth with no recollection of how he got there. Those who have read the book (which I couldn't recommend more — particularly the audiobook) know the gripping story is about a whole lot more than just science. It's a story about survival and unexpected friendship, and you may want to bring some tissues along.
